Women’s History Month

This project involved designing a printed promotional poster for Women’s History Month at City College of San Francisco, highlighting various speakers. The year’s theme, “Our Bodies, Our Stories,” drew inspiration from the book “Our Bodies, Ourselves”.

To align with the client’s request to avoid the use of the female symbol, the design intentionally obscures the symbol using the theme’s words. This approach serves as a deliberate statement against reducing women to symbols or, in the context of the theme, defining them solely by their bodies.
